Four Poems from Jacobo the Turko published in armarolla: "Ronaldo," July 26: Sanayeh Park," "July, 2006: Jacobo and Hamoudi Escape Beirut," and "Lost and Lost." These poems follow events surrounding the Hezbollah-Israeli war, somewhat after the episode above, when our hero Jacobo meets the Palestinian Hamoudi. Hamoudi has taken Jacobo in at the Burj al Barajne refugee camp, where he lives with his family, and has secured him a job in a laundry run by Mr. Beheshti, a Shi'ite with family connections to Hezbollah. The magazine armarolla is published in Cyprus, where Jacobo and Hamoudi land after escaping the war in Lebanon, before heading on to Istanbul, where Jacobo is kidnapped, tortured in Bagram, Afghanistan, and sent on to Guantanamo prison in Cuba.
